Opening the
Doors of Opportunity
The League of United Latin American Citizens firmly believes
that all Americans should have the opportunity to have a
fulfilling and rewarding career. Since our inception in
1929, we have encouraged Hispanic Americans to obtain a
solid education and to pursue their dreams. In 1964, LULAC
and the American GI Forum
created SER Jobs for
Progress to provide education, employment and training
services to Latinos and other underrepresented groups across
America. In addition, we have developed partnerships with
the Federal Government and
Corporate America to
encourage increased recruitment, hiring and promotion of
Hispanics in the public and private sectors. |
