I am happy to announce that LULAC has teamed with actress, activist and now author, Jackie Guerra to raise some much-needed funds for our LULAC Youth. Many of you may know Jackie from her role as Jennifer Lopez’s sister in the motion picture, “Selena” or from one of her many appearances on behalf of LULAC but Jackie is also a former Union Organizer, a tireless advocate for the Latino Community and a great friend to LULAC & LULAC Youth Organization.

Jackie has just released her inspirational memoir, “UNDER CONSTRUCTION: How I’ve Gained and Lost Millions of Dollars and Hundreds of Pounds” (Penguin/NAL) which contains a hilarious account of her inner monologue at last year’s LULAC National Convention in Little Rock, Arkansas.
