I.C.E. Agents Raids in Metro's of LA next will be BART!
Dear Friends,
I forward this urgent notice to you, though I know many of you are nowhere near Los Angeles, but I want you to know that there are currently many such actions happening across the USA...I've learned that over 700 people have been arrested, detained, and/or deported peremptorily and without legal rights in recent months.
These things do not get reported on major media, so without our alerting each other via e-mail, we will not realize the terror campaign against immigrants and their families that is currently underway. This is an attack on the most vulnerable, which in my view is only the first form of an attack on all of us. Please be alert, do whatever you can, but at least know that these events are happening across the USA currently. I find it chilling, but also a call to greater action in whatever way we each can.
Best Wishes,
Ann
